Payment

Once your payment has been made, I will start your order! Thank you for supporting this small business and trusting me to create your design. Without your kind payment, I won't have the funds to obtain the necessary materials. Also, I won't be able to continue to pay for my music subscription I like to keep running in the background while I bake. They are both necessary for me to create your order!

Damaged / Lost Orders

I take care of my cookies like they’re my own baby. This means I’ll keep them clean, use the best equipment/ tools to make sure they look dazzling and delightful. Also, I’ll use anything and everything to keep them safe on their travels to ensure they’re prepared for any bruises or bumps. Unfortunately the weather isn’t always on our side and this means that it can also affect the cookies during transit when they are travelling, therefore damages due to heat, rain or any weather disruptions cannot be compensated. 

Although I prepare my babies for their travels, I can’t be with them once they’ve left my hands and are on their way to their destination. I rely on professional workers to ensure they reach their destination. On the way, if there’s any bruises (damaged cookies), bumps (lost cookies) or late arrivals to the destination, it’s out of my hands and this makes me frustrated just as much as you. Refund

If the below applies to your order, you’re eligible for either a partial or full refund:

• Incorrect spelling
• Incorrect design

We do not take responsibility for incorrect personalisation where the customer has provided incorrect spelling or an incorrect design. Auto correct is not an excuse, I've already tried to use this one elsewhere and it didn't work.

Pickup Orders

Once an order has been picked up, it is no longer our responsibility, thats your baby now! 

Social Media 

My parents have posted so many pictures of me on social media and they're always my bad angles! Regardless, I understand they love me lots and are documenting my growth, success and triumphs. 

Just like my parents, I also want to show off your order to the world. If this is something you're not comfortable with please reach out via email (info@shaysbakes.com.au).

Design

I'm no Catfish but I do certainly love using the features social media platforms provide to enhance my features and show the best version of myself. There's nothing wrong with this!

The same may apply to the cookie packs that you view online. This means that there might be slight differences to the design when they arrive in person. Many reasons exist for this such as lighting, editing, brightness, etc. If there's anything specific that you wish to confirm, please contact us via info@shaysbakes.com.au.

Minimum order (not including set packs)

Shane is a 24 year old male. He was offered two new jobs after looking to move on from his current role. Both jobs required the same amount of work although one paid Shane 6 apples and another paid 12 apples. Shane chose the job offering 12 apples as he felt his skills and experience matched. Shane also didn't feel like getting out of bed for just 6 apples.

The minimum order for custom cookies is 12. I don't sell apples. 

Postage

Express postage is applied to all orders. This is done through Australia Post. To calculate your estimated time of delivery, please view the link below:

Please note, although you may choose a specific date, once the cookies have been shipped the delivery is out of our control. This means that the delivery may not always arrive on your selected date. Please order as soon as possible. It is important that if you are ordering for an event or specific date and need them on the exact date to select delivery for a week before hand to avoid any delays. The cookies last 3-4 weeks so they will still be fresh. 

I'd love to be the one behind the wheel although I'm in front of the mixer, making dough and using my music subscription.

Dietary Requirements

People always ask me what diet I follow and it's always the same answer! I'm on the see food diet. Whatever food I see I'll eat! You may or may not relate to this and that's why I'd like to specify that our cookies may include the below:

• Nuts
• Dairy
• Gluten

Inspiration Pictures

I once showed my hairdresser a photograph of a pretty blonde lady. This was the look I wished to go for with my hair and allowed the hairdresser to do their magic. Once completed, my hair was orange.

Just like my hairdresser, we will try our best to match what you provide however please keep in mind our version may not always be exactly the same, as every baker has their own unique style/techniques and use different materials etc.

Expiration

I've heard some cookies don't expire, they're just self conscious. 

In the case of our cookies, they last up to 3 weeks if stored in a cool / dry place.

Ingredients

I can't tell you what the 11 secret herbs and spices are but I can tell you what our cookies include:

* Plain flour
* Egg
* Sugar
* Butter
* Salt 
* Vanilla
* Fondant 

Our ingredients may also contain traces of nuts, soy as well as the use of dairy, gluten, corn, egg product and frosting.
